10 processes we value

Our job is to plan projects, create videos, design graphics, hold exhibitions, and create websites.

Although these are widely publicized as deliverables, we believe that it is important to carefully lay out how we thought about the project, with whom we collaborated, and what effect the project had after it was completed.

We believe that the quality of the invisible process is reflected in the results.

Process #1
MOTION GRAPHICS

 

In the process of evolving “Motion Graphics”


In 1997, one of the founding concepts of DRAWING AND MANUAL was "the fusion of graphic design and video.

Graphic designers attempt time-based design, while video creators use graphic design to express themselves. These two respective fields have little in common in the creative process and are difficult to fuse together.

However, graphic and video have been experimented with in various forms by creators for many years, as was attempted in 1958 with the work "Optical Poem" by Oscar Fissinger. We believe, however, that the field of "motion graphics," as it is widely known today, has not yet truly merged.

Is this expression, which has a different history from animation, a graphic or an image?

Motion Graphics" is still in the process of evolution. Research continues.

SOCIETY

Work that makes our society wonderful


We are living in the present. And we hope to continue to live wonderfully.

That is why we want to try to improve the society around us as much as we can. To do this, we develop ideas, record them, make videos and posters, hold events, and write songs.

While working, we are learning. And we always want to make the most of it for the next.

BRAND

 

Brand wholeheartedly recommend it to you.


Freshly established brands, brands that have been renewed and are making a fresh start, long-established brands, and brands that seem to be losing their vitality.

There are countless "BRANDS" in the world. And every day we are bombarded with advertisements. We start by becoming familiar with and liking the brands we are involved with. And then we honestly want to recommend them to others.

We want to express our love not only in images, photos, graphics, or words, but also in our hearts.

ENTERTAINMENT

Entertainment is wealth


When the earthquake struck Japan, entertainment temporarily disappeared from TV and the Internet. After a while, amidst the sadness and frustration, everyone wanted to laugh. They wanted to dance. They wanted to sing.

Entertainment" touches people's hearts and brings them energy. It is not just a way to pass the time.

Entertainment may have the power to change the world. That is why we continue to create entertainment. As long as there are people who want to have fun.

LIVES

 

The real thing and that time and place.


Because I want to see the real thing. Because we want to show you the real thing.

Even though the network has become so much a part of our daily lives, we are still impressed when we touch and see the real thing firsthand. Everyone has experienced this.

And what you feel at that moment will make you feel richer than you did yesterday. We want to provide such a place. We want to gather precious things and let you feel them right next to you.

EDUCATION

Let's all be children!


Learning is not a privilege for children. It is fun to forget about age and experience and genuinely learn about a world that is still unknown to them.

The word "education" may be somewhat one-sided. Essentially, what we gain by learning together is meaningful.

We would like to create many things that people can enjoy and learn from before they know it.

What we wanted to create.

We occasionally try to create original works, keeping the creative spirit that wells up inside of us as we make things in response to various requests.

We create what we simply want to create with our friends.

We want to show them to our friends, please our families, and share them with others who feel the same way.

We would like to continue to cherish the purity of our creative activities.

SOUNDTRACK

Making Music


Soundtracks and opening music for movies, music for commercials, sound logos for brand identities, music for fashion shows, songs for everyone in town.

There is always music by the side of creativity. Creating that music ourselves is one of the most important aspects of creativity.

We search for sounds and give them shape, entrusting our emotions to expression in order to accompany the story.

TITLE

 

Create a beginning


The opening image at the beginning of a movie or drama. The beginning image, commonly known as the "title back," is a deeply creative work.

It expresses a sense of anticipation for the upcoming events with the theme song or theme music. The credits of the performers and production staff should be displayed. How to display the title text and symbols, whether to use animation to accompany the live-action film, whether to include an introductory narrative, and so on.

We are working on an important and very delicate production that creates a beginning.

Create an impression.


Product logos, drama posters, artist photos, key visuals, books

We use graphic design, photography, and editorial design to create impressions that lead people to "want to see," "want," "like," and "enjoy.
